Thank you.
Thank you for standing with community organizers to demand justice for George Floyd, thank you for your donations of supplies and financial support, and thank you for showing up and insisting that abolishing the MPD be the only option as Minneapolis moves forward.
We are humbled that of the many organizations working in Minneapolis you chose to make a donation to Southside Harm Reduction Services. However, our work is far from done and we would love it if you considered making your one-time donation into a recurring monthly donation. As conversations continue around defunding the police and how the community can be used to create alternative forms of safety we will need your support to keep doing the work we do!

Since March 2020 our services have been expanded in response to COVID19 and the Minneapolis Uprising:
- We have added additional days to our delivery and street outreach schedule.
- Worked with people displaced from encampments and hotels, providing them with naloxone, food, information, safe use supplies, and camping gear.
- Supported the push of community members to occupy a hotel to provide a low barrier safe haven for people living outside.
- Built and stocked two free food shelves in South Minneapolis.
- Started a Suboxone and other prescription delivery system for people unable to access a pharmacy when many closed.
